There are many reasons why you might want to change the licence plate of your e-vignette. For example, because you have bought a new vehicle, want to travel with a different vehicle due to a defect, have moved and therefore received a new licence plate, or for numerous other reasons.
Whether you can change the registered licence plate of the e-vignette depends on the toll laws and conditions of the individual countries for which you have purchased an e-vignette.
If you only want to change individual characters of your licence plate because you made a typing error when entering it, please read this article.

If you change your vehicle’s licence plate (e.g. due to moving, loss, or theft), you can transfer your vignette to the new licence plate. The prerequisite is that the vehicle and owner remain the same.

Since the e-vignette is linked to the licence plate, it automatically applies to the new/other vehicle if you change vehicles without changing the licence plate. No action is required.
